Music producer Don Jazzy commented on the statement from the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
DAILY POST reports that DC Joseph Attah, head of public relations at NCS, said in a statement Sunday reacting to the video that it was painful and totally pointless to lose life.
He said: “Today, at the Shagamu interchange, along Ijebu Ode, an attempt to obstruct a legal representation of a passenger’s bus (a white Toyota Hiace) (Godwin) and injuries suffered by a customs officer, ASC1, Destiny Onebamho.
They always come looking for water for Customs patrol boats whenever they go back to the base.
But Jazzy criticized the statement for calling the body “corrupt”.
He joined thousands of Nigerians to write the statement of the Nigerian Customs Service after killing an unarmed man.
On his Instagram account following a customs declaration, the Mavin wrote: “Corrupted group, you all killed that one.
“You shot unarmed civilians, that’s all, so sad.”
